Amazing book! My 3 year old and 11 year old enjoy reading this book. It makes Yoruba fun to read and learn. I will be purchasing other books in this series.

I love how this book takes young readers on a trip to the market! It’s a relatable activity that makes it easy for children to stay interested while picking up new words along the way. I recommend this for babies, toddlers and young children learning Yoruba!

i loved the simplicity of the story in òdarọ́ adesola. we are taken on a journey of adesola’s night time routine.
the illustrations by chidinma anya-kalu and the layout by peter biodun amedome are brilliant. the author -ruby akinwande, does a brilliant job with the story and the special treat at the end of the book. well done! every parent/family member will enjoy reading this book to their little one. i am looking forward to reading the rest of the book in the series. thank you for creating and sharing this book with us.

Like the other books in this series, “Adesola goes to school” takes young readers on a relatable journey. Through repetition and context, children can naturally begin to understand vocabulary, making it both an enjoyable story and a gentle learning tool.

I’m always looking for books to read to my children at night and this one is a win! I love how “Goodnight Adesola” discusses activities my kids do before bedtime all while incorporating Yoruba words. Makes it easier for them to learn the language!
